HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT IS CRITICAL TO SOUTH AFRICA'S
PROSPERITY
It is sobering to think that South Africa will need an
additional 1500 to 4000 civil engineers over the next 10
years if we are to cope with the growing pipeline of
projects in both the public and private sectors.
Artisans will also be needed in vast numbers to support
these projects,
giving the local construction industry a considerable
challenge.

CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PARKADE COMPLETED ON
SCHEDULE
Murray & Roberts Construction, in a joint venture
with Jolinde Construction, is in the final stages of
completing construction of the ACSA Parkade at Cape Town
International Airport.

VERSAP PROJECT TO MURRAY & ROBERTS CONSTRUCTION JV
Murray & Roberts Construction, in a joint venture
with Group Five Construction, W K Construction and the J
& J Group, has
secured the contract for the VRESAP (Vaal
River Eastern Sub-System Augmentation Project). The
project value is R1.5 billion rand and the contract
period is 23 months.
